I brought four cats from Australia. We used logistics agents (Booma was the Thailand half). No issues.

Dual nationals entering on a foreign passport is a tricky area. Refer here -
**********************************************************************************
- my reading of what’s there is that basically if she’s born Thai, as of 2023 she won’t be treated as a foreigner even if she enters on her UK passport, as long as she can show her Thai ID on request. However, it seems that a naturalised dual national can lose their citizenship if they try to use their other citizenship in the Kingdom (including to get in). (Disclaimer - I have no personal knowledge or expertise of this area, just re-stating my reading of the link).

KnowledgeableFrog7031You can buy a fully flexible ticket. These are more expensive but can be changed or cancelled for a small fee. That’s why they make a point of saying it can be a refundable ticket, so you know that’s acceptable.

FYI, even if you are on a single entry visa, you may still be able to get a multi entry permit to sit on top of it, once you’re in the country, from the immigration office, or at the airport if leaving from Bangkok (but you do need to allow up to a couple of hours extra to get out, don’t book a first flight of the day). I was here earlier this year on a three month single entry work visa and had to leave temporarily before coming back to complete the formalities to extend. A re-entry permit was granted no problems for a small (receipted) fee.

On what visa (or exemption)? From what country? How long between visits? Did you go home in between? You haven’t given enough information for anyone to answer.

Banks do ask people to bring in their visas and IDs for update as part of AML/KYC protocols though.

Anonymous participant At the office first time. I’m told you can do it online after that.

I don’t see why if it’s only a month or two. Thailand has annual leave, so getting paid while on holiday is not a foreign concept.

You would need a Thai employer. If you don’t want to set up a Thai company for it and hire four locals per work permit, there are outsourcing (employer of record or EOR) services that will hire you at your expense, for a service fee on top of payroll outgoings. But it isn’t cheap, VAT is payable on top of the entire price (ie including your salary), and it isn’t compatible with DTV. You would need to switch to a Non-Immigrant B visa. You would only do it if your business is genuinely quite lucrative. However, it does open a pathway to permanent residency.

Foreign freehold has a scarcity factor and that’s why it’s more expensive than Thai freehold. Don’t sweat it, your market if you sell is other foreigners and they can’t buy Thai freehold either, so it’s not like you’re competing with them.
