Advice please: A friend is coming in to own 49% of a Thai-owned company .

She's looking for someone to help process what she needs for the next step -- to get a Non-B visa and a work permit.

Would anyone know how much it costs for an agent to prepare the documents and make the application for the initial 3month and then the one year visa along with the work permit?

She has been quoted about 45,000 baht for the whole package of transferring from tourist to Non-B , and getting the work permit for one year. Is this a fair price? If she applies out of the country, there's apparently an added cost.

All relevant advice is appreciated.

Another question. I know what to do to extend my retirement visa. Only problem is I live in a house of Thai company, which I own 49 % of. So what do I have to show, as there is no lease?

Also my wife got a following visa, based on my original retirement. What do I need to do to extend that, which form, requirements.

Hi everyone.

My wife and I own a business where we employ 50 staff. I’m currently using a non immigrant O visa but am thinking to try for a business visa. How could I go about doing this . As it is I am worried to even trim the hedges without being dobbed in. I would like to work with peace of mind.

I was told recently that as long as a Thai has 51% of the business and you the other 49% that they can get you a work permit visa etc.

Seemed far too simple to me. Anybody able to shed light on the matter?
