If I applied for a 12 month non O multi entrance visa. & was thinking of changing it to a retirement visa would I have to apply for the retirement visa on my first entry into Thailand. Or can I apply anytime within g to he 12 months. TIA
Hi all, I’m looking to apply for a DTV Visa and my Mother is looking for a Retirement Visa. We have used an Agency that have been less than helpful, which has led both of us to lose our first applications due to admin errors (we have the required finances, and other paperwork etc respective to what we are applying for).
Can anyone recommend a more reliable agency to support our applications, please?
I know we could submit ourselves but a trusted partner would help ease our minds whilst things are a little up in the air.
I unlocked advanced features of TrueMoney using my DTV, so I can make personal QR code payments. Does anyone know if there’s a limit on the number of free payments each month?
* 3/11: Application submitted and payment completed
* 4/11: Status changed to *Pending Approval*
* 10/11: VISA approved, no additional documents requested
Documents submitted:
* Passport copy (first page only)
* Muay Thai-related documents
* 6 months of bank statements + Finance Certificate from my French bank
* Flight and hotel bookings for Vietnam
* Passport entry stamp + photo of myself holding my passport and hotel keys
Note:
My passport was issued by the French Embassy in Bangkok, and for the “Place of Issue,” I entered it exactly as written on the passport (letter by letter).
Hi all, I’m looking for a bit of advice 🙏🏻 I’ve just arrived here recently on an tourist Evisa, my intention is to apply for a non immigrant O visa . I looked into agent fees & thought them to be touch high.
I’m happy to try & fo it myself if possible.
Do I just go to immigration in Jontiem & explain & let them tell me what to do?
Naturally I’ve no bank account here but have a rental contract, Thai phone number etc.
I’ve no problem meeting the monthly 65k I believe 😇 that you need transfered in rather than the lump sum ( if possible).
It’s understanding g the process here that seems a bit confusing ( for me).

Previously I had applied with a Thai botany course. This time around I realized I want to get back into Muay Thai for personal reasons. 💪🍎
And yes, I PRINTED THE VISA and am back in Thailand now with a 180 day stamp. No more cool passport stickers but it’s all good. 😌
A visa agent told me that the class alone would cost 26,000 bhat, though attendance optional. So I would have to pay the school this amount every year for the five year DTV visa?
