In regards to Washington DC Royal Embassy, the 3 months of statements $500,000 Baht, does each statement individually have to show over 500k baht or just the final balance period has to show the needed amount? My May statement has a little over 17k and a screenshot of todays balance is well over 17K, However April and March statements are not but they do show continuous deposits.

I have a remote job (not self employed, regular job). I have pay slips and work contract, but in my country I can’t easily get papers from the official tax authority quickly, and I want to apply soon. Is it possible with just my contract and payslips?

I am gonna apply for workcation, not soft power.

Visa approved 😃

So I’ve just finished the interview at the Thai embassy in the Netherlands. I applied for the dtv muy Thai for 6 months. From October to April I had an ED visa

Documents I’ve sent them

-bank statement for over 6 months

-proof of ownership of my house

-a letter from the Dutch tax department

-energy bill

-phone bill

They then asked me to provide all my passport pages so I sent them

So today the interview. I’ve printed all these documents but he told me he did not need them.

He asked me what kind of work I do. I told him I don’t work and I’m living from my savings. The money comes from an inheritance So he asked from who the money came.

He asked me where the gym was that I will do the course. How many hours I will train en how many days. He also asked me me what I’m doing in the time I’m not training so I told him that I’m learning kitesurfing, following private Thai class and that I like to spend time with my friends. I told him I’ve been coming to thailand for 10 years for holiday.

And then he said yes I saw your were studying Thai how is your Thai. So I told him nit noi:p that I know some words but I find it difficult to put them in a correct sentence.

So he asked me how many hours I had Thai class. Told him the days and times

He then made the comment that I really like thailand so I told him yes 🙂 and he said that they do many of these interviews to decide if the course matches up with this visa because it is a long term visa he said

I will get an awnser in the coming days so I willl update this post then. Fingers crossed 🤞

I got dtv but I read many posts and I got some doubts for the extension.

1) it seems if you want to extend the 180 days at immigration office you must provide the same information and documents you already did to get the dtv and you are not sure it will be approved, but if you just travel out of Thailand and back there is no problem and you get the stamp at the passport check. Does it make any sense?

2) with the new system at passport check you don't need to show your passport to an immigration officer but just pass through the scan machine... How to get the 180 days visa stamp on passport then?

Thanks

Hello everyone. I'm planning to register for a Muay Thai DTV in France this year-end. Apparently, a proof of accommodation in Thailand is required, but for how many days? For the full 180 days or just a few days upon arrival are enough for get this visa ? Thank you 🙂

Maybe wrong place, I apologise if so, but when you apply for a UK passport renewal from VFS Bangkok do they cut the corner as you apply, or after you receive the new one, I have visas for other country's that I need for work purposes in my current passport but I'm running very short on pages.

Planning on entering from the US with a non OA visa. Will be staying with my son (US citizen teaching english) in Petchabun for approximately 3 to 6 months while determining where I want to live. How will this affect my TM30 and opening a bank account if I can’t show a lease agreement? Thanks in advance
