Hello all. Here is what happened when I visited Immigration to apply for my yearly marriage visa extension (in Nakhon Phanom). I got it but it was a grueling, anxious 7 hours. At first they told me they would not approve me application (even with statements from both of my accounts in the same bank, with more than enough total in them and having accidentally transfered too much money out of the one, but then transferring it back within one minute).....and they said I would have to leave the country and come back in with a 60 spousal visit visa and then start the marriage visa application all over again. .......Those 7 hours including many runs to the bank (3 times), the Amphur, and for copies. Near the end of that day, after calling the "Big Boss" in KK, they finally approved my application. Quite a stressful, rollercoaster day. Now I wait for final approval of my extension. Thank you again for all of the response.
