Good evening all. Can someone please tell me the specific documents needed when renewing a marriage extension visa? There are many confusing instructions on different sites and Facebook pages.

I will apply for my new yearly extension tomorrow at Nakhon Phanom immigration. Thank you for any help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Renewing a marriage extension visa in Thailand can be confusing due to varying requirements at different immigration offices. Key documents generally include updated photos and bank letters, along with any documentation submitted the previous year. It's advisable to confirm the specific requirements at your local immigration office, such as Nakhon Phanom, as they may have unique stipulations. Bringing copies of all documents is recommended, and ensuring that bank statements are dated on the day of application can help avoid issues.

I will be there tomorrow too to do 90 day. My advice is take two copies of everything. Bank statements need to be dated tomorrow. Bank book must show a transaction tomorrow - do a phone top up before updating bank book. Good luck. NP are not easy to work with.

You do and need exactly what you did last year, with just new pictures, and new bank letters. Everything else is exactly the same, unless you moved since last year.

You need to go get the list of requirements from your immigration office. Then gather the documents. Then go back and apply for extension.

There’s confusing answers because each office will have different requirements.

An example is here for Phuket. It may or may not have any relevance to the office you use.
