Hi guys, I have DTV Muay Thai. If I move from Chiang Mai to the south, can I submit my 90-day TM30 report at a different immigration office, or do I have to go to Chiang Mai?My Current Status

I have relocated. My original address registered with the DTV was in Chiang Mai, but I am now in Jomtien.

Question;

My 90-day reporting deadline is approaching, and I need to file this report. I understand that a TM30 (residence notification) must be properly on file before I can complete the 90-day report ( it is a printed file that I will receive from landlord)

Could you please clarify the following questions immediately:

TM30 Requirement: Which TM30 is required to be on file for my 90-day report? Do I need one for my old Chiang Mai address or the one for my current Jomtien address?

Reporting Location: Which Immigration jurisdiction must I use for the 90-day report? Should I return to the Chiang Mai Immigration Office, or can I file at the Immigration Office covering Jomtien (Pattaya/Chonburi)?

hello everyone, i am currently on a 1 year non-o visa, expires on end of october. My husband is considering to change company for his work permit and visa. the entire process will take about 4 or 5 months. In this case, can I extend our visas to cover this duration? or we have no choice but to renew when our current visa expires? thank you for your advices!

✨ DTV Dependent Visa Approved! ✨

Sharing my timeline in case it helps anyone currently waiting:

• Submitted: May 22

• Document Request (photo): May 30

• Status changed to “Pending Approval”: June 4

• Approved: June 11 ✅

• Applied at: Los Angeles Thai Consulate

📌 Side Note: I had been checking the portal daily with no change, but on June 11 I decided to send a polite email asking for a status update—and it was approved later that same day. Not saying it’s guaranteed, but it definitely felt like it helped move things along.

If you’re waiting and it’s been a while, a gentle follow-up email might be worth a shot.

Wishing smooth approvals to everyone still in the queue! 🙏🏽💻✈️

Can an earned monthly income of $4000 USA currency is acceptable to get a retirement Visa ? Or does it have to be a pension? I'm 52 and married to Thai woman with a 3 year old Thai baby.

Feedback please, Thank you ☺️

Retirement extension: every year I try to make a perfect application but every year I am thwarted! Today I had all the documents on the current list. 10 is a Google map of your house with lat and long. No use printing it out and writing on it. No, you need to drop a pin on it to show the lat and long. Fortunately the copy shop near room 103 could do this. Print with north to the top of the paper. Also, the photos of you in front of your house showing the house number should be printed across the page, not full page. I think this is so everything can be understood without rotating any document 90 degrees.

When I picked up the document list a couple of days ago they gave me form 2, form 9 and 11 I think which are for acknowledging that you know the penalties for contravening the terms of your extension.

However, it was effecient and helpful; only an hour from entering the bank for letter and statement until departing Immigration. Collect passport at 4pm next day.

Has anyone applied for one of the visas while IN Thailand after a tourist visa? If so can you apply online and use the embassy location where you are (in Thailand) or do you have to leave first and come back?

I've posted a couple of times on here about Immi asking me for proof my 800k funds originally sent in 2019 came from abroad. I have something to note and something to ask. To note, I asked my bank on two occasions to supply the proof, they said they couldn't find any origin abroad deposits. So I was faced with importing another 800k. Then this week I found my old bank book, and sure enough there was the record with the FFS code for a foreign origin. So, note that the bank may not try hard enough, you may need to push them if you no longer have your old bank books. Second, is a question. I can now apply for the retirement visa here, but I'm heading back to Europe in April. As I understand it, I can get the non-immi retirement visa now, valid for three months, then extend it to a year. My question, after getting the 3 month visa, can I leave the country with a re-entry for a few months, then come back in and apply for the 1 year extension, or will my 3 month visa become invalid upon departure?

Anyone in the group get DTV as dependent ( family member of DTV holder) ?

Is the waiting time pretty much the same as the normal application or is faster?

Greetings,

I have a non-b visa (90 days) via my present employer. I am hearing nothing but conflicting information about how to eventually change jobs. I'm not sure if my visa is "tied" to my employer and how this might in any way influence what options I have. I'm effectively operating in the dark here and would love to find work in Bangkok but am not sure about what to do or how to proceed. I'd appreciate as much detailed info/discussion as possible regarding this matter. I look forward to talking to anyone and everyone that has reliable and solid advice-knowledge. Thank you!
