Hello, I was trying to get the bank statement from Bangkok bank, for the extension of my retirement visa. They told me that it can take up to two weeks until it's ready. The letter must be sensed from Bangkok to koh Phangan. For the immigration, it should not be older than 7 days.so it won't be valid after this period. They told me, they can send it also per e mail to me, what will take up to four days. My question is, if I will print it out, will the immigration accept this? Has anybody experienced this?
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat seeks advice on whether a printed bank statement emailed from Bangkok Bank would be accepted by immigration for a retirement visa extension, given the challenges of obtaining an officially stamped document within the required time frame. Responses highlight mixed experiences: some agree that the immigration office requires an official bank printout or stamped statement, while others report success with printed documents. Many suggest verifying with local immigration offices and/or obtaining statements through banking apps for efficiency.
