For UK DTV holders … I need to ship 2 medium boxes of work stuff and personal stuff .. who is the best courier to manage boxes though Customs , etc ? Fed Ex / DHL / Parcel force ?

Planning on moving to Thailand with the family from the Philippines. We will ship most of our kitchen appliances etc. I would like to ship my record album collection ~3500 albums, based on what I have been reading, I would be paying hefty taxes and duty fees??? Does anybody have any information on shipping bulk items such as this? (these are personal use, not for resale)

This might sound crazy but when moving to thailand on DTV have you shipped your TV furniture or computer etc? Thanks for sharing in advance.

Hi everyone, has anyone had experience shipping boxes (moving from Australia to Bangkok) to Thailand on a DTV visa? I'm looking to ship a couple of boxes of personal items e.g. books, clothes, home items etc but wondering if this was feasible given that the DTV is a tourist visa and I'm not sure whether it can be cleared through Thai customs.

Will they tax me? Because one time I shipped my Debit card to Thailand and they made me pay 30 baht to receive it (why?)

What’s The Cheapest Way to Ship Personal Belongings to Thailand?

Can anyone recommend a shipping company to send roughly half a container of belongings from Vancouver Canada to Phuket? Anybody use Siam Shipping? It would be so much easier to just come with two suitcases. Also, we plan to come on a 90 day Non O visa then change it to the retirement visa once we get the bank accounts and everything in order. Do we receive a "permit" to bring our things once the retirement visa is approved? Thank you to everyone for the advise. It's been very helpful!

Have you had any experience shipping your personal belongings from usa to Thailand? There's a DHL store close to where I will be living in Thailand, I'm considering shipping clothes, footwear, and golf clubs from USA to Thailand. What do you think?
