I know of one assisted living/ care home complex in Hua Hin that can provide a care package specific to your requirements. Part of their basic services is to do the admin for your visa, whichever one you choose to be on.
by reading your post and replies to other comments I think you are seriously underestimating the quality of medical services in Thailand. You don't say what's wrong with you but you are worried about short journeys to immigration or the local hospital. I wonder how manage with the journeys to and from Thailand.
My advice to you would be to go to your nearest hospital with as much information on your condition as possible. Take advice from them on the best course of action. In addition talk to your travel insurance company.
I think you are correct. For some, like myself, the doctor signed the certificate after a few basic checks. Other doctors will order a whole set of tests.
My memory of going to the doctor to get my certificate was around elephantitus. He said "I have been in general practice for 40 years and never seen a single case. I am going to assume you don't have it." 😂😂
I understand and as such put a plan together that he would meet Jomtien wacky rule. Now he is going to extend his visa exempt stamp by 30 days in the final 7 days of that stamp, another Jomtien special rule.
i had a report from a friend yesterday who converting from Visa Exempt to Non Immigrant O in Jomtien. He was told the funds need to be seasoned for 3 months.
great call. I didn't do my bank account that I hold my visa money in and it delayed me getting the paperwork for my next visa extension. I managed in the end but it would of been easier if I had updated when I got my new passport. 😊
