Last time I did a border run to Vietnam.

I used two different airlines.

One for outbound and different airline for my return.

Immigration did not as any questions.

The outbound airline insisted I have a return ticket.

I showed them My return ticket on my phone.

I explained I was on a different airline.

They checked it out and confirmed it was a bona-fide return.

Then they checked me in .

Only print if the airline requires you to do so.

Open thai bank account.

Get bank card .

Download banking app.

Always best to have 2 different thai bank accounts .

I have KTB and Bangkok bank..

Have ATM cards and have banking apps on my phone.

Most transactions can be done via your phone via prompt pay , scanning QR code and bank transfer.

I use a company called Wise to transfer money to my thai banking.
