It might seem suspicious being on an ED visa and leaving for 2 months as the point of ED Visa is to be in school learning. People abuse these visas frequently and then have troubles down the road. Especially schools that arrange visas when then are online schools. No need to have a in-country visa if it's online. Beware.

E-Visa for Laos is not a bad option if you want to skip the visa on arrival line.

yeah. I get that. But when one IO at CW says one thing and a different IO at CW says something else, it's impossible to know what your gonna get when you report. Diversity in local practices between different offices is one thing, diversity in practice between IOs in the same office is impossible

that's interesting. CW use to tell everyone that they only needed to update TM30 when returning from traveling out of country.

I would suggest you first apply for a 30 day extension of stay to give yourself more time to get through the process of a 90 day non O.

This is troubling. Given the value of this group is unincumbered advise independent from the self-serving agents that look to push people into that direction. The group rules included no mention of agents or agencies.
