Is it harder to get the 12-month extension for a Non-O visa after the initial 3-month period in Thailand?

how long is long term ? , when I finally get there I want to rent for 3 months so I can get my years extension, so I have enough time for my money to be in the bank , then I can look around to find out where I want to rent long term ?, is this ok ?

I’m not worried about snakes lizards spiders , sheard my shower with a centipede in Khoi Chang Christmas , this is not about this ? , it’s what you can get and spend on hospital bills , dengue fever requires blood transfusions , and you happen to notice what colour mosquito bit you ???????????
