TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the recent relocation of a visa services office from Chamchuri Square to One Bangkok. Comments confirm the move and share personal experiences, including obtaining work permits and a suggestion regarding the new office's accessibility. There's also a mention of specific visa types, including investment visas and inquiries about LTR visas.

I went to look for the new office a few days after they were supposed to have moved and it was still under construction. Not open. I will check again soon . . . or maybe I missed something.

A bit of advice - ask the information desk which elevator to take to the 7th floor. They don’t all go there.

That's right because I was there on March 18th and got my new work permit. 😊

The BOI deals with investment visas and LTRs, but the one-stop immigration center deals with all work visas as well. They both moved together.

to be clear, are you saying you can do just long-term visas only, such as retirement visas through them, even if not investment related ?

no you cannot do retirement visas through them unless you're applying for the wealthy pensioner LTR.

This article is not about anything new. Nothing has changed. Most people will use Chaeng Watthana as they always have. This is the BOI and the one-stop-service center that deals with LTR visa, investment visas, and work visas.

If you don't know what any of that means, then this is not your immigration office.
