why do you try to make out that those who have had failed transfers are stupid? I changed to monthly transfers and after my 3rd transfer my UK bank account was closed as they considered I was living in Thailand. I tried again with another UK bank and they screwed up the 5th monthly transfer. I then did manage 12 transfers to BB via Wise and got my extension but this year BB have screwed up, locked my account and people are saying that Wise transfers are no longer showing as international so that's another screw up that has nothing to do with my intelligence Mr. Clever!
I'm not sure how long it will take to get the 90 day non o wherever you choose to go but on your return to Thailand with it get a bank account opened up as quickly as you can. You must have

0 baht in that account for at keast two months in order to get the 12 month extension. An agent could help you get the bank account if you have problems but use your own money and get the extension yourself. There is nothing dodgy in doing that which might give you problems. I also recommend a Kasikorn account as people seem to be having less issues with this bank that others. I have been denied access to my Bangkok Bank account even though I have done everything by the book.
I've had the 800k in the bank for 4 years but because my BB account has been frozen I have had to use so e of it for living expenses. Now it is likely that I will not be able to make it back up again for the 3 months required by my office to issue a new extension. In addition I am unable to check if my monthly payments are going into the bank coded correctly because I can not access the app. If they are nit I will have no other option. I cant do anything about the situation until I return to Thailand next month. I hope you now understand my former comment.
