Krungthai have been the best bank for me but I can not get Wise transfers to show as international for Visa purposes. That's why I opened a BB account. Anyway, I will not be trusting BB with more than a few baht once I have got things sorted.

some people have been told that they have to go to the main branch in Bangkok. All the documents to get accounts unfrozen are processed there.

exactly the same for me and it could affect my next Visa extension. As soon as I get back BB is over for me. And if, for any reason, you are unable to return to Thailand the money is gone!

My IO accepted bank statements I printed from the banking app. That might help you if yours did. In my opinion, bangkok bank will loose a lot of customers over the problems they are causing. I have simular issues to you.

There is nothing underhand about asking an agent to help you open a bank account, putting your money in it and getting help obtaining the non o at the same time.

except that when entering through BKK with an agent obtained Visa extension I was in no uncertain terms told, by an immigration Officer, to get my extension myself next time.

you can apply for the non o in home country by showing the funds there. It gives you 90 days to open an an account in Thailand and deposit the funds there for two months before applying for 12 month extension based on being over 50, married etc. Or is that what you meant?
