I am going to apply for Retirement Visa to enter Thailand for 90 days.
After approval is there any window within which I need to enter Thailand or I can enter as per my convenience.
I plan to come after 2 months
Thanks for your attention

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the entry timeline after obtaining a Retirement Visa for Thailand. Multiple comments clarify that a Non-O visa grants a 90-day validity period post-issue, with an allowance to enter Thailand within that timeframe. However, clarifications arise about differences with tourist visas, specifically mentioning that such visas can offer 60 days on entry, necessitating an extension for longer stays. Users also suggest checking the embassy website for accurate application procedures and requirements.

You really want to enter the kingdom with 90 days on your visa in order to obtain a lease on a property, open a bank account and apply for your 12 month extension. The bank account is the main concern if you are considering retirement here
if you have the money just see a visa agent and they will do all the work for you, however depending on your circumstances it will cost

baht. If you have knowledge of Thai immigration laws and requirements the skills and language skills and practices you could do it yourself for about 5000 baht and many many hours sitting in immigration especially if you’re in Bangkok, Pattaya
I got your point. I want to use my money to put in the account and not looking help of agent in this area. All I want to do is use the agent to help secure lease, open bank account and do the legwork for extension.
I would appreciate if anyone can suggest a reliable agency for this work.
I came to Thailand on a 30 day no visa and did a 30 day extension and one fly out and returned. I used the 90 days to get the 90 days visa and 12 months retirement extension and got all the boxes filled. It’s not a hard process to do yourself.
