When apply and enroll to a Thai language school for Ed visa there’s a box to cross for if you have a criminal record. Is that really a requirement? And do they check that with your home country?
Looking at the OA visa,applying from the UK. I have a question about the 'certificate of criminal record clearance '. I can get a DBS check that costs £21.50, or an ACRO certificate which costs £68. Is the DBS sufficient or do I need to go all in with the ACRO?

I have a question regarding the Kakaesque nightmare that is applying for a police clearance check in Thailand from abroad.
I've got two sets of fingerprints made, and filled out the forms except the Testimony Memorandum where it says 'I testify that .... '
Anyone have any clue what it is I'm supposed to testify? That I haven't committed any crimes? That the fingerprints I've had made are mine? I can find no guidance anywhere about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to know if they have changed the required criminal record check document in any way?
There is a school suggesting to me that they might have updated their requirements for this doc that may now need fingerprints etc? And this type of doc must be done at the police station.
Will they accept the same type of check they always have, or is there some new rule now?
