TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a 'No Criminal Record' certificate in Thailand, you will need to visit the Royal Thai Police Headquarters (PCSC) in Bangkok. There, you'll submit your fingerprints and request the certificate. This process typically costs around 200-300 baht and can take approximately 15-25 business days. If you are currently outside Thailand, you may need to apply via mail by submitting the required documents along with a fee. This certificate is often required for visa applications, so ensure all documents are correctly filled out and translated if necessary.
I lived in Thailand for 4 year's needed certificate for working in local ship yardin England.I had to get it in Bangkok (PCSC) special Branch of the Royal police. Make sure its translated in English and stamped.

You need to do it in Bangkok at the Royal Thai Police HQ, it's near Central World Mall or Siam BTS.
They can process your police check there.

If for a fiance visa or immigration, go to the central police station in Bangkok.

Got mine done at the police headquarters opposite central world in Bangkok...walk in and ask...they take your finger prints and then takes a couple of weeks before the certificate is ready.

You need to get this translated properly.

Against?
Don't try to use it against them, they're to proud, they will use something against you then.
Thailand government is long long past being farang friendly, they used all the dough we spent here on technology to keep us under control and piss us off, now I’m in Laos and although it’s got no beach it’s great with super duper friendly people and so long as you got the moolah no problem with da visa, no complicated BS. Marriage with a Lao national is paperwork intensive for those who are tired of being single

From US , My visa request was rejected because my local police station said they no longer issue anything like that! And Thailand wanted it!
in the usa you just go to any “Live scan” fingerprint scan location in the state you live in and they will do everything for you and you get a letter from your state showing no criminal activity, this is used for many things employment for the government and large corporations a quick search in any decent sized city will pull up many locations
your criminal records have nothing to do with your passport , at least the countries that I am connected with

What a load of BS, a current serving politician did three years in an Australian nick for heroin trafficking now he’s a Thai politician with over 800 million baht in assets and two wives we know of, one rule for your law abiding farang and another for the locals

If you mean getting a police check within Thailand you'll need to visit the police clearance office in Bangkok, simple process.

I think that's a visa requirement you need to submit. No criminal record from your country.

Canadians! Hilarious how they’re so close to South Park’s characters.
Its not about a crime against Thailand, it’s about if having a criminal record charged in your past, for some Visas but with the basic marriage, tourist, exempt & retirement you don’t need.
When asking questions be very specific, being vague will get vague answers.

I did this about 40 years ago, the national police, not local
I live in Canada and want to retire in Thailand, the Canadian Thai Consulate in Vancouver says I need a No Criminal Record against Thailand. I've gotten one here from Canada 🇨🇦 but trying to figure out how to get one from Thailand while living in Canada.
maybe it has changed since I first got my retirement visa but when I applied what was required was a police report from either your current country of residence or from the country of your citizenship. A Thai police report wasn't required.
Presume you're applying for O-A? The criminal check is done in your own country, then you submit that in your application. In the UK, we have DBS for checks. There was no requirements for a Thai record check for our O-A.
my wife is Thai she needed one for the uk spouse visa, she contacted police headquarters in Bangkok somewhere, they issued one, I have just got my retirement visa, 2 weeks ago I was not asked for a criminal record check, Thai embassy London
