For information. The on line 90 day reporting is working well now. Submitted yesterday afternoon and approved 2 hours later. My 4th success in a row.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The online 90-day reporting system for visas in Thailand seems to be functioning well, with many users successfully submitting their reports and receiving quick approval. Various commenters shared their positive experiences, highlighting that the system has improved over time. However, there are inquiries about which types of visas require the 90-day reporting, with mentions of the 90-day exempt tourist visa and marriage visa. Some users expressed confusion regarding in-person reporting after leaving the country, especially if the same address has been maintained for years. Overall, while many find the online system efficient, there are still concerns about the inconsistencies in reporting requirements based on visa types.

But you havent left the country right? my problem is they always want it done in person once you leave once, which makes no sense as some of us have the same address for years... i mean on a 20 year visa how many times you moving per year ?

I received mine in 12 minutes!! Couldn't believe it. Well pleased. I was told at immigration that the first 90 day report after receiving my marriage visa had to be done in person, after that online is fine
visa exempt is 60 days for those who qualify. You then get 30 day extension before leaving the country. When you come back 90 days start again so no need to report.
I had to go into the jomtien office. Apparently I left the country and I have to go in as my first visit. But it only took me 5 minutes to drop it off and I picked it up an hour later.
the type of Visa is irrelevant. If you are in Thailand for more than 90 days you need to submit a report. Personally I have a non o Visa based on being over 50 with a 12 month extension. I think maybe there are a couple of Visa types that do not require 90 day reporting. Someone will no doubt post what they are.
