Im from the US, i used an agent my first year in February2023, i have done my last 2 extensions based on 65k per month transfers. They did not say anything about the original 800k as it was only in my account for 3 minutes. No embassy letter from USA are , but i have pension award letters and social security statement as proof of income to support my bank statements etc. Those were sufficient. My experience is at jomtien immigration.

I do try and time my transfers around the 1st of the month whenever possible for 2 reasons. First so that its consistent and also because i want to verify that my transfer came, via wise, as an international transfer coded correctly on my statement, otherwise, as previously stated can be anytime during the month.

Graham SealYesterday at Jomtien immigration they were super busy after returning from lunch and after queue for a number they said" no more rentry today " , come back friday" they also suggested getting the re entry permit at the airport. Never done it that way before. Is it a big hassle? allow an extra hour ?

Same address as before but yes left Thailand and returned in February but owner didnt file was new tm30. Now planning to leavs again soon and went to get re entry today but immigration was swamped. Im thinking i need an updated tm30 since my last arrival.

Mark SchultzFor that September wise transfer we obtained a certificate of global transfer from kasikorn bank. The only difficulty was locating a kasikorn international services desk which is not in all kasikorn branches. Locally, in Pattaya, must go to the kasikorn branch in Laem Chabang. About 30 minute bus ride north of pattaya.
