Just curious. Has anyone here renewed their retirement visa at Jomtien immigration in September or October under these circumstances.
1. Do it yourself ie no agent
2. Use the 65 thousand baht per month option
3. Providing statements, letter, etc from Bangkok bank
I ask because many folks experienced the Wise transfer/Bangkok bank snafu in September. Thanks

they have to show as transfers. You can't simply make local deposits of Thai Baht. Have to show 12 consecutive monthly bank statements indicating the money coming from abroad.
First year extension the 800,000 has to be in bank, whilst you do the 12 months 65,000 transfers. Then can switch on second extension. Think that's the way.
