Hi guys could someone please tell me do most immigration offices except bank statements and pass book updated the day before you do your 1yr extension
Answer summary
The acceptance of bank statements and passbook updates varies by immigration office in Thailand. Many officers will accept bank statements that are up to 7 days old, but passbooks must generally be updated on the same day as the extension application. Some locations, such as Hua Hin, may allow statements from the day prior. It is recommended to deposit a small amount to ensure the passbook shows a current transaction. Additionally, the requirement can differ even within the same province, so it’s advisable to check with specific immigration offices ahead of time.

Jomtien requires passbook update same day. You can order your statement and letter 7 days prior and do it all at once. Bangkok bank.
Now a bank statement for 12 months instead of 6 months.
Bank statement from the day immigration issued your last extension until the day you go to the bank. Updated bank book the same day you go to Immigration. You don't need to put 100 baht into your account. A guarantee letter from your bank.
4 pictures from your residence. 2 pictures from outside the home. 1 picture of you in front of the house and 1 picture of the house number.
2 pictures from inside the house.
Application for extension of stay.
Everything was new for me when I came to Immigration Krabi 18.March and I have been here permanently for 18 years and 3 months.
Preben Kronborg Nielsen That is for the marriage based visa. Independents (like me, although I have a legal Thai marriage) no need.
Edit: Bangkok, Samut Prakan Immigration office, there was a gentleman before me in the queue, with his Thai wife, he presented 10 printouts of their home, street, address and house number, outside and inside, them in that house, even of their living room and bathroom.
Imm officer accepted that, from what I over heard.
Preben Kronborg Nielsen passbook has to be updated same day (Bangkok bank) and agree with cover note and official statement. They are good for a few days. Chiang Mai have never looked at my passbook, just checked against photocopies of every page of passbook.
Korat requires the same as Chiang Mai + passbook transaction + bank acquired statement + bank letter. If you have to come back another day due to a change in requirements you have to repeat the bank process and fees.
month statement and book must all agree. Bangkok bank updates all together. One wrinkle, use atm a day or two before visit as official statement gets updated overnight.
If you update it in ATM outside the bank it will be updated to the current day or if the staff in your bank update it the same. I use to update the bank book outside the bank a couple of times every year. The bank will also update the bank book before they make the guarantee letter to Immigration.
