Dear members, this is the requirements list for a 60-day family visit extension at CW, Bangkok. NOT for a 1-year extension based on spouse or parent to a Thai, NOT for other offices.

, OP has already got Non-OA. And if he goes to Non-O route, his wife cannot get Non-O dependent on him.

What are the current visa options for staying in Thailand for 4-5 months without annual health insurance?

You can apply for Non-O based on being a spouse to a Thai national (Spouse and Family Visa) or Non-O retirement. Both are single entry visas valid for 90 days and give you 90 days on entry. Then you can apply for 60 days family visit extension at the local immigration office. No border run for 4-5 months.
