Just remember once you use an agent you’ll most likely always have to use an agent because you won’t have the funds to show to switch to the monthly transfers so an agent nowadays isn’t really air tight good luck

unfortunately you cannot open a bank account on a tourist visa you should go to Laos and apply for a non-o visa come back open an account and transfer in your 800 k let it sit for two full months then apply one year extension

You can extend leave and get another 60 days which you can extend again and leave and re enter just before it expires you’ll need a bank account with 800k baht in it for two full months to apply for a non-o retirement visa

They required a lot more this year for my extension,copy of owners house book ,letter from company that owns condo landlords passport and I hear next year they want the owners tax ID they don’t want us here anymore

give it a shot if they see the DTV there’s a good chance they’ll give you two weeks to close it if you research it’ll say you cannot have a bank account on a tourist visa

not worried one bit can stay forever and never have to leave and I can do that in 3 countries carry on education takes awhile I understand that good luck

will see I’ve got the best of all SEA you obviously haven’t been in Thailand that long so you can’t see what’s happening look at what there doing to exempt stamps now you really think 2 years down the road a immigration officer is going to stamp you in for 180 days because you took a class 2 years ago ,I guess your very young and have a lot to learn about staying in other countries
