TLDR : Answer Summary
Changes in the enforcement of TM30 reporting are now requiring expats to report their presence in Thailand each time they return, even if it's to the same address. This discussion highlights experiences, confusion over rules, and the options available for reporting, including online submissions. The existing laws dictate that a report must be made within 24 hours of arrival, although practical enforcement can vary based on weekends and public holidays. Many community members share advice and clarification on the reporting requirements, especially for those on retirement or multi-entry visas.

I am returning to Thailand in 9 days. I have a re-entry permit. Non-0 visa issued 2020. Third retirement extension from Si Racha. Will live with wife at her house. Again. Previously never did TM30. All 90 day reports done at Si Racha. What is the website for doing this online? Thanks
I don’t understand, are you saying that I have to do a report if I leave thailand for a week? I thought that actually reset the 90 day reporting requirement as you register BY going through immigration at the airport.
you are exactly right your 90 days goes to zero when you leave Thailand and return. And you just do your 90 days reporting on line if you remain in Thailand and don’t leave/return . Not sure what they are going on about here.
it’s your TM30 nothing to do with a 90 day report yes you must report every time you re enter Thailand which hasn’t been the case for years just another pain in the butt
So how about if we go somewhere else and when came back not report and it wont be match with 90days notification.Or they only ask first one when we entered and notified?
No need to do tm30... why do you still keep doing this...tm30 is for the landlord. If not done. The fine goes to the landlord. People keep doing things you shouldn't be doing.... paper work in Thailand can be a mess if you don't know what you are doing so why start doing things like tm30 which is something you DON'T have to do... don't start doing things you think you should do...
you are completely wrong you will pay the fine and without a TM30 you won’t get any service if you don’t have it,yes the landlord is supposed to do it not many don’t and what happens if your the landlord
. Yes and no. If you arrive on a Friday evening or Saturday , etc , they will take into account due to immigration closed country wide. Just do it within 24 "business" hours.
if you do it online which I have done several years there is no problem - I live with my Thai wife when I go to Thailand and always report tm30 on her behalf
yes my trip back from Cambodia was 3 weeks ago but she had mercy on me no fine my friend got fined 1600 baht same trip different IO crazy if you ask me
