Hey everyone—quick question about the DTV under the soft power category:
If you’re enrolled in a course (like Muay Thai, cooking etc.), what happens when that course ends? Do you need to immediately enroll in another one to stay compliant? And if you leave Thailand after your course ends, do you need to already be enrolled in a new course before re-entering?
Trying to understand how strict immigration is about continuous enrollment and whether there’s any grace period. Appreciate any real experiences or up-to-date info—thanks!
Any DTV-approved, 6 month cooking courses in Chiang Mai for no more than 20k? Found several in Bangkok but can’t seem to find any online in Chiang Mai 🙏
I’ve seen there’s options between Muay Thai & Cooking courses for the DTV VISA.
If you choose to do one of those courses for 6 months then leave Thailand & come back, there is no problem entering the country without a new course paid for again & arranged?
Hi guys need some suggestions. I am kind looking at soft power cooking for dtv. I heard from AI that 6 months will get rejected 99 percent. is it true? AI suggest for 12 months. I don't work but has income from rental. also what cooking school people went for and for how long. which country people apply their dtv from. how long it took and when was it approved. just need suggestions many thanks.
I am seeking recent feedback (from the last few months) regarding Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) applications submitted in Australia via the Soft Power route. Specifically, I am interested in:
1. Are applicants still receiving approvals using the 'Discover Thai Nature' 1-year seminar program?
2. Are 6-month cooking courses still sufficient for approval, or is it now advisable to book a 1-year course to ensure success?
I comfortably meet the financial requirements and have already researched previous related posts. Thank you for your assistance.
