Answer summary
A user inquired about the timing of being informed if an ED Visa application is denied at the Thai consulate in Vientiane. Comments clarified that visa denials typically occur immediately during the application process if the applicant does not meet certain requirements, such as having a previous ED visa issued within the last year or lacking proper documentation.

The ONLY reason you'd be denied an ED visa from the thai consulate in Vientiane would be IF you had a previous ED visa issued less than a running year before you're applying again, OR if you don't meet the documentation.
They don't interview you the next day, they just deny you when you apply for the visa usually.
