Download the DLT app on your phone and book a test, Thais need to wait weeks or months but they have slots for farangs normally next day if you use the app, you will need to sit for a whole day in a test centre, 4-6 hours watching a video then some studying then the test, the test is actually a bit hard due to the bad translations and crazy thai questions such as monks don’t need to wear helmets and tanks can drive on roads, spend the 4 hours of watching video to study here

The practical part is easy and takes 5 minutes, you will pay 50-100 baht to hire the test bike, drive about a small course, even if you hit every cone and crash every kerb you will still pass. Then you pay the desk 100 baht and you got your license. If you fail the written test u can come back the next day and do it, I seen quite a lot of people fail actually the questions are impossible if you don’t study for hours.

After a lot of shopping around I got a place for 10k baht, but need to pay 4x 1800 immigration fees so it’s 18k total

are you serious? if an appliance is 110v rated and you plug it into a 240v supply you have a risk of either frying the product or starting a fire

If you find somewhere doing Ed visas let me know I’ve messaged 3 different agencies in 3 different areas of Thailand recently and been told due to a change in staff at immigration they can’t offer Ed or volunteer visas at the moment!

is it? I thought u could change a TR visa to ED visa no problem, is it different for covid visa?

Yea don’t worry about it just go, Thai are not going to refuse you because ur flight was changed, any problems just speak English to them very fast until they let u in, seems to work 🤩
