Hi I applied for covid visa extension in chiang mai and received under consideration stamp told me to come back in 15 days, 

I’m now in Phuket, is it possible to get Phuket immigration to sign this off? if not, am I able to post my passport for someone to get stamp for me rather than spending a whole day flying up and down? 

They didn’t tell me about the 15 day thing until after I applied and got my stamp or I would have applied in Phuket

Same happened with me. "yes, we will give you 60 days, no problem"...

3 hours later. "here you go. You need to come back on your under consideration date."......

Did you told the immigration that you were going to Phuket ? If yes they should have proposed to send the approval to Phuket immigration office.

no they didn’t tell me anything until after I finished then they told me I would need to come back after 15 days, I thought I would get my 60 day covid visa instantly without repeat visits as it doesn’t tell u anywhere it’s a 2 stage process?

You're not gonna get ANY immigration office other than the one that issued that under consideration stamp "close the loop" and give you the covid extension stamp.

You could indeed post your passport (and that blue/green receipt you got when you applied for the extension) to someone in Chiang Mai and have them go "close the loop" on that stamp.

Other than that I see a trip to Chiang Mai in your near future :P

If you send your password to someone doing the job for you, don't forget to join a signed power of attorney (you can get the form at the local immigration) with a copy of your passport bio page signed by you.
