Hi, I arrived August 18th on a 60 day tourist visa. Looking to extend by 30 days.
This group has been helpful so far, though I still have a few questions before I head to the immigration office:
1) I did not receive a TM6 on the inbound flight. Is this mandatory? If so, how can I get one?
2) I’ve just filed my TM30 with the juristic person at the condo. I did not receive a written receipt, instead she told me to take a photo of the device she used to complete the TM30, which struck me as odd. Is this normal? Will this be sufficient evidence to extend?
3) Originally, I had booked onward travel within the 60 days. Must I show evidence of onward travel at the end of the 90 days if I’m now seeking an extension? Can I book this after or should I do this before an extension is granted?
4) I presume the TM7 form found here [[members only]] is the correct one, and that I should complete this before visiting the immigration office?
Hi, can anyone provide clarity on the following pls. Can I extend my 60 day tourist visa inside Thailand and can I convert it to a work visa/permit if I land a job. Thank you
