just to clarify I get a new 180 day stamp each time? At which point do I then pay the 10k then for extension? Or is the stamp only for my remaining days from my initial 180 days?

krungsri eventually let me, a bkk bank were also letting me but wanted me to buy a 4k thb insurance policy, it probably took me 10 different bank attempts

You just need to shop around, it took me a few different branches before one lets you open

Kajetan Michalewicz no idea but they asked for it after everything else was done then I thought the visa would come the next day but it took another week later after that

it started quick with responses after 48 hours then I had to wait 1 week for a letter from my accountant. Then after all the boxes were ticked I finally got a request for my flight ticket which I sent them then the visa got emailed to me a week after that, no idea why it was stuck at processing for the last week, so at I’d say around 8-9 days of the 3 weeks was waiting on me to get them things if this helps

if I’m British can I apply for it in a nearby country like Laos at the Thai embassy there, or do I need to fly back to the UK
