I was here during the 2006 and 2014 coups and tbh you wouldn't have really known if you didn't keep up with the news.

Day to day life just carries on

The yellow and red shirts debate closed the airport for weeks and that had a much bigger effect as your travel was restricted

But the coups happen and life goes on

The visa issued does not say "workation" on it so they must take people at their word that it is

You can change to DTV yes. I just did similar. I Let my retirement run out and applied for DTV on remote work. No issues, very easy

Can you save your TDAC information for future use in Thailand?

If they thought it through they would have created an app or at least the account could store your key details so you only have to enter the flight details.

Cambodia has an app for this and it works very well
