Just looking for some confirmation regarding returning non O visa holders and insurance requirements.

I will be returning next month and have seen conflicting information.

One says you have to be insured until your annual stamp ends (for me in March) and another says you need coverage for 30 days.

Does anyone know the official requirements please

TLDR : Answer Summary
There is conflicting information regarding the insurance requirements for returning non-O visa holders in Thailand. Some sources indicate that you need insurance coverage until the annual stamp expiration (in this case, March), while others suggest a minimum coverage of 30 days. It also seems to vary depending on the embassy you are dealing with. For instance, some embassies require insurance for the entire duration of the stay, even if it falls short of the visa stamp validity. The discussions highlight that official requirements may include having health insurance worth 400,000 THB and specific COVID-19 coverage as part of the Certificate of Entry (COE) process.

You will have to see when you apply for COE/Thailand pass, you also have the choice of purchasing an onward ticket.

Makes no difference when you are stamped in, you will get stamped in until March. 😉

Seems to vary from embassy to embassy.

In Singapore i had only 5 weeks left on my stamp but they wanted me to purchase one years insurance.

Officially says you are supposed to have insurance for length of stay in your case tiĺl march.

I booked my ticket a week ago and Emirates ask you to call Aig and then they will give you an email address to send your itinerary to and it takes a couple of days and they send you a policy by email. But I won’t do my Coe/ pass until next week

I will be coming from the UK, I will be flying with Emirates and have a return ticket so will be insured with Emirates until my return in May. Just a little confused as I will extend my O in March for 1 year. From what I have read I don't need further insurance at this time to extend for 1 year in country.
