DTV - London - application

I was due to fly on 1st January 2026 and applied on the 2nd December 2025 in London. I shared a copy of the 2 hotels I was due to stay in as part of my application. I've since cancelled both hotels as the free cancellation period was coming to an end. Will this affect my DTV application?

Answer summary

The individual has applied for a DTV visa in London and is concerned about the impact of cancelling hotel bookings on their application. Community members have reassured that cancelling the hotel reservations is unlikely to affect the visa application process, as it mainly involves fulfilling documentation requirements.

Anonymous participant yes, but what you do after you sent this, they cant check without asking you. They have no access to check flight booking etc. Only what you show

Unlikely to affect your application in all honesty. Just strange it's taken so long from London. Even with the English and Thai holidays most are approved quite quickly. Wishing all the best for you.
