If your registration address in the DTV is a rental place and the owner is a Thai, Thai customs officials can request the DTV holder to show the TM 30 copy in the customs.

not sure if we are referring to the same thing.

The TM30 is Thailand’s Notification of Residence for Foreigners required under the Immigration Act (Section 38). It obliges a property owner/landlord to notify immigration whenever a non-Thai national stays at the property.

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
