TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual seeks information on when they can apply for a 1-year extension of their 90-day Non-O visa, which has a stamp date of December 24. They ask about necessary documentation beyond the passport and income letter from the Embassy. Community responses mention the importance of preparing additional documents such as the landlord's ID and house book, a hand-drawn map of the neighborhood, and a new form called "Statement." Ultimately, the individual successfully obtained the extension with some documents not being requested.

There was an additional form that the girl said was "new" but may not be, It is headed "Statement" and from the english parts I can read is some form of guarantee, however they only asked me to sign it so I do not see what or who is being guaranteed? can post an image if it is something new

you could be asked for the landlords i/d and house book OR you might not be. I'd say have it ready in case they ask

And you WILL need a hand drawn map of your neighborhood.

What you gave to get the 90 day Non-O visa has nothing as far as what you will provide to get a yearly extension. Two completely different sections (C-1 for the Non-O and L for the retirement extension, two completely different sets of documentation..

There is no problem going when you have 45 days or less left on your stamp because you won't lose any days going early. They ADD the year to your current expiration date (March 23 2019).

when I was at CW to get the Non O they told me to Copy the embassy letter of income as it would be required to get the 1 year, so I have the copy, why would I need a copy of my bank book when I am using the letter of income for the extension? thanks
Robert *******
You can go 45 days before till last day of 23rd March. You need all the same documents as you applied for this visa and new updated bank book and new bank letter.
