Is anyone in this group got his DTV using a thai bank account statement showing the sum amount of money requested (500k for at lease 3 months)?

That's not TRUE. It does not happen just because you got the DTV visa.

Anonymous participant by the bank and/or immigration. DTV is tourist visa. Toursit visa holders are not allowed to have bank account in Thailand
