the whole system seems to be extremely complicated. There are new guidelines which are a quagmire of legal requirements, which are better left to professionals. The professionals are aware of internit rules and can reduce frustration and complications. You can do everything yourself, I agree, but when it's related to international law requirements, it's prudent to work within the framework, else saving bucks could land you in many forms of harassment in terms of laws & regulations. You never know which officer will begin to go to great depths of interest on one particular violation. Ending up paying fines in paradise is no one's idea of fun.

You can try thai vivat, they are inexpensive and are one of the lesser advertised companies. They are pretty straight forward and you can generate a quote online. The payment can be transferred they their payment gateway and the policy is mailed promptly to your home address. You must check for covid cover though.

Why do you want the old visa stamp? There is no reason to have it in your new passport - It has no relevance, besides thai authorities have already marked your profile on their system database. Old stamps are of no relevance to you under any circumstances & bear little relevance to your future visa applications whatsoever the type may be.

Why would anyone search for a valid reason to step out into the uncertain world riddled with pandemic and financial meltdown? Stay at home, allow this phase to pass. Things are all set to beguile you into making mistakes and pay a heavy price. Avoid travel. Enjoy where you are, probably its a lot better than being in ICU or a morgue cos no one will even visit to claim your body.

Please try thai vivat, they are competitive. Can't assure any performance metric, but got it done for my Thai gf, was inexpensive and prompt. The agents are good communicators.

Please search for letter from us Embassy to Thai immigration - can't confirm its authenticity, but the guidelines seem to support your case. It was issued recently, probably the last 2-3 days.
