I have the LTR based on remote working and it was easier than I thought make sure you tax returns are in order. and if they are in a foreign language other than english or Thai make sure they are translated by a registered translator and stamped. Also the process can drag on so call them frequently to see if they have everything and push them along. Remember the LTR costs only 50k baht and there is no 90 day reporting only yearly. So the LTR is far superior to the elite

you most likely not have a problem if your spending that much time outside of Thailand. In 2022 I had 8 visa exempt entries and spent about 200 days here. never a single question or comment. The problem is when you tourist visa 60 days extend 30 days and repeat with only leaving the country for a few days.

be careful with volunteering visas. if in the future you want to get a more robust long term visa you could be rejected. There have been several cases of this
