Hi everyone!

I hold a US passport.

I currently have a multiple entry tourist visa. When this expires, am I able to apply for another one? If so how long do I have to wait? Thanks to everyone for all this help and information in this group.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual, holding a US passport with a multiple entry tourist visa, inquired about the possibility of applying for another visa once the current one expires, specifically asking if there is a waiting period. Responses pointed out that the decision is at the discretion of the embassy or consulate, and there are no strict rules on reapplying, though one suggested exiting Thailand briefly to obtain a new entry stamp without delay.

If you have a muti-entry, why not just exit before it expires and come back with a new 60 day stamp?

That's between you and the embassy or consulate in the US that you want to apply through. They determine if they will issue you another visa or not. It's completely at their discretion. There is no rule that says you can or cannot, or must wait a certain amount of time.
