I have been to Thailand 3 times in 2025 without any issues, my sons dad lives in Thailand and I go for him to visit his dad.

I have entered on visa exempt every time and been fine.

However I am worried if I plan a future trip, I haven’t ever overstayed, I haven’t ever extended the visa and I have always returned back to the UK.

There have been months between each visit, and we are genuine tourists never doing “border runs”

Is it worth just getting a METV to save the worry? Or will we be fine?

We will have enough funds, a return ticket and letter from dad explaining the trips

Hello,

When you enter Thailand as a turist for 14 days, do you need to have cash on you to prove that you are capable to pay for accomodation, food, transport, according to the new entry rule in the country? I know that I need to fill a paper before leaving UK, but about money I do not know anything. Thank you for your answers! 🙏

Hello all! I have a question. My partner and I did one visa tourist renovation through Samui airport. We were in thailand from may until August. 6 days trip and we turned back a few days ago.

My question is if we go on november 1month or so to do another trip. Can we come back to thailand by flight to stay 3 months again?

We did renewed visa tourist once this year. November will be the second one.

Thank you!

Good day. I’m traveling from US to Thailand as a tourist, arriving in Bangkok approx 072025. I plan to stay for 90 days while I figure out retirement plans.

Travel plans include a round trip ticket into and out of Bangkok. Question one is whether or not my return ticket can be scheduled for day 85 or does it have to be within 60 days of arrival and then changed after the vacation stay is extended at immigration?

My second question is for the purpose of arrival. I plan to travel over the 90 days or so. For the purpose of arriving legally must I have a three month hotel booked will they allow me to enter of if I reserve a room for three days to start?

Thank you

Kurt
