Lol my thoughts exactly. We did borrow some money from my mom just for the duration of the application but I do think the original $16k would be fine.

So I asked them via email a couple weeks ago and they said, “the dependent of the DTV visa holder is eligible to utilize the financial documentation of the primary DTV visa holder. Thank you for your attention.”

Really not sure what that means lol

Yeah I applied for mine on the 15th and there hasn't been any sort of update either. They definitely seem to be one of the embassies that's taking the longest.
