Just got approved for the DTV out of Washington D.C. For anyone that has their own LLC, I submitted the articles of incorporation and my partnership agreement as proof of documents for employment.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user recently got approved for a DTV visa through the Washington D.C. consulate, providing their LLC's articles of incorporation and a partnership agreement as proof of employment. They received interest from others about their application process, including questions about bank account requirements and the specifics of the LLC. Discussion included processing times, with one user noting a 15 business day timeline, and queries about demonstrating remote work history.

Hi. I have a US based LLC also, but will jist start to do my work remotely. I have funds, income, and any LLC paperwork needed - But did you show, or do you think I would need to show a history of doing the work remotely? Educated guess is welcome. Thanks

No, I only registered my LLC this past June. They just need to see that it's a registered LLC.

Congrats!

I also applied via DC as an owner of an LLC and submitted the articles of incorporation. Curious, what do you mean be “partnership agreement”?

my partner and I wrote up an agreement regarding the ownership percentages for each of us and different clauses that explain if we bring on a new partner, etc. It just gave more legitimacy for my LLC
