I did my DTV visa application about 15 days ago... I have not gotten any response back... Am I safe to assume that they are just processing and it should be okay... I've seen some people say that they responded immediately if new papers were needed or any other kind of proof on items... So I'm just curious what you guys think

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discussion revolves around the processing time for DTV visa applications, with the original poster expressing concern about not receiving a response 15 days after submitting their application. Various commenters share their experiences, noting that processing times can vary significantly between embassies. They suggest checking online dashboards for updates and mention potential delays due to document requests from the embassy. General sentiment indicates that delays are not unusual and that the applicant should remain patient.
DC usually fast which is where i got my DTV, maybe go on your dashboard to see if new notifications , sometimes they request for extra documents. Check your junk mail box since sometimes the notifications go there
I applied at D.C. on Aug. 12th and got my DTV approved today the 29th at 4:20. Yesterday they asked for a few documents to be in PDF format, and a letter to myself saying I'm allowed to work remotely and why. There was a Thai holiday, so the embassy seems to be close to 10 business days still. Good luck! I'm guessing you'll hear something very soon.
No tax records. I used a certificate of status to show I own a business and its current, a letter to myself allowing remote work, and proof of funds. Use PDF for everything.
Yes you should be fine it seems the processing times are taking longer with some consulates. Mine actually took a few days with the London consulate but I have a friend who applied at the washington consultant and that took around 10 days
Yeah I applied for mine on the 15th and there hasn't been any sort of update either. They definitely seem to be one of the embassies that's taking the longest.
Unless you saw someone say that about the embassy you applied through, it doesn't matter. Every embassy is different, they all have different processing times and different requirements.
