Before I left Chiang Mai the last visit I hired Siam Legal to take care of my retirement visa while I was back in the states. Within a few months I received my visa after submitting several documents visa email. Once I arrived in Chiang Mai to live permanently we met at a Thai bank with the proper documents and opened an account after transferring 800,000 THB. On April 17th I will go to the bank and update my bank book and obtain a statement for the last 2 months proof of 800,000 THB, then on April 18th the visa agent will meet me at the immigration office to extend my visa for a year, total of 15 months.
