Talking about Thai bank accounts I have a question is it better for me to send money to account and then withdraw it for spending money or should I just keep using my debit card on my American bank account. I wasn’t sure what the transfer fees would be sending it to my Thai bank account. Right now I just have the ฿430,000 for my marriage visa.

The good news is my  ฿430,000 has been in the Thai Bank, K Bank for 2 months. I just had my visa agent fill out all the paperwork so I can get my one month visa. With in the next 2 weeks the police will come to my house to make sure I really live with my wife as a husband. Once that is completed I can get the one year extension. Quick question. I used wise debit card at ATM to withdraw 20000baht from my baht current account. ATM charged 220baht but wise also charged me 350 baht. Is this normal , l was told only ATM charge will be 220 baht.

This can be a promising alternative to Thai Bank for those who have not been able to open Thai bank account.

How can I avoid paying 220bhat ATM fees and 20k withdrawals limit, as a language Ed-visa holder? That’s such a pain in the ass.

Is there any local app that verifies me with my type of visa so i can transfer everything there from my visa card to avoid charges? Or i donno, any other workaround?

EDIT: Please Stop telling me open a bank account. I WAS NOT ABLE even after asking my school agent, yes that's quite stupid that they don't allow a non-tourist person like me open an account in Thailand.
