- post was to seek edification. Does not preclude embassy. But US embassy doesn’t generally provide appointments for certification letters of US passports. After all, isn’t that the definition of redundant?

- that was my sense. But bkk bank rep in phrom phong said she wants me to come back with 3 valid picture IDs w/full names, incl middle name. 2 are my passports and 1 is dr license. hoping next branch has less comprehensive requirements. The entire exchange with somebody wearing a covid mask - it weirded me out.
