What is the longest lag time allowed between being granted a 90 Day Non O Visa in your home country, and actually arriving in Thailand, receiving your non-o passport stamp, and beginning your 90 Days of paradise? I was told u actually also have 90 days from day of visa approval to arrive and still be valid for 90 days in Thailand.

A visa grants you entry into the country up until the last day that it is still valid. Regardless of when you enter within that validity date you will be stamped in for the duration that the visa grants.

This is something that I've read on FB before, some posters have said that your 'O' non- immigrant visa starts the day it is approved, which is nonsense.

many FB users are confusing the „visa validity“with the period of stay permit you get stamped into your passport when you ENTER Thailand using the Non-Imm-O visa.

*** the 90-days single entry Non-Imm-O Visa has a validity of 90 days, starting from the day it gets issued

This means, you will have to enter Thailand within this 90-days window, in order to ACTIVATE the visa!

You can enter Thailand only ONCE (“single entry visa”)

Once you enter Thailand using the Non-Imm-O visa, you will get stamped in for a 90-days stay permit

The visa itself becomes INVALID (“USED”) for further use, upon entering Thailand

You have 90 days in which to use the visa and then it is activated the day you enter for your 90 days permission of stay.

Single entry visas are valid for entry for 90 days from the day they are issued by the embassy. The date you must enter by will be written on your visa.
