Happy new year y’all. Need some educated input. This is regarding the looming deadline for submitting everything for my first-ever Visa 1-year Extension of Stay. My 800,000 seasoning period ends either Fri Feb 28 (will be 60th day) or the following Monday Mar 3 (which will be 63rd day). What are my chances of approval on the Friday? I ask becuz Immigration site says 800,000 must be seasoned 60 full days. Do they strictly enforce? My prob is that by Mar 3rd I’m just 10 days from Non -O expiring. Say I’m on point with all other paperwork for that upcoming date at BKK Immigration (current day’s bank book + Bank letter, TM30 etc) — what are my odds of receiving Extension of Stay in that 10 day window between Immigration Day and expiration of my 90 Day Non-O. As always, you guys are an amazing resource so thank you. If consensus is that 10 days isn’t long enough to achieve the goal, I will be back on here with an interesting question about having a last card to play that I came to possess quite unintentionally.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarity on the timing of applying for their 1-year Extension of Stay for a Non-O visa, specifically concerning the 800,000 THB seasoning requirement and its enforcement by immigration authorities. Community responses highlight that the 800,000 THB must be seasoned for two full months, meaning the user can only apply after the seasoning period ends on March 3. It is indicated that it is permissible to apply on the very last day of the visa, and extensions are typically granted on the same day of application, or an 'under consideration' stamp can be issued as temporary approval.

And do note that you can't touch that 800k for 3 months after extension and it can never fall below 400k after that. 800k must be back 2 months before next extension.

The money does not need to be at 800,000 for 60 days, it needs to be at 800,000 for 2 full months. So if the deposit bringing it to the 800,000 was made on the 3rd of January, then you cannot apply for the extension until the 3rd of March.

It doesn't matter how much time you have left when you apply for the extension. You can apply on the very last day. Retirement extensions are almost always given the same day of application. Even if it's not given that day, you will receive an "under consideration" stamp which acts as a temporary extension until the full extension is received.
