To renew a tourist visa and to apply for a residency cert most of the documents are the same. The only difference seems to be TM7 application form filled for visa renewal compared to TM30 for residency cert.

Both need, passport photo, passport visa page copy and passport info page copy

Will I be able to get both of these done in the same visit and do I need two copies of each documents?

Hi everyone - I searched for the answer to this but could not find it. What do I need, besides 1900 baht each, to extend my current 45-day visa for another 30 days. I thought I would get it done early in Krabi Town. Help please. I know the offices are closed Wednesday-Friday this week.

Visa extension query - I intend to go to immigration at korat this comeing Thursday to extend my 30 day visa (the visa exempt 30 day stamp given on arrival). I've not done an in country visa extension for over 20 years so just want to check up how it works.

Has anyone done this recently? Is it fairly straightforward? Any other tips/info regarding required documents, best arrival time, parking etc to make the whole thing as pain free as possible?

TIA for any assistance/advice :)
