So ill take one of the issues we had. So we live, literally the furthest i think possible in Thailand from our immigration office. 1.5 hour drive one way. So we got the paperwork, have to go to the bank prior, they usually open up around 830 to 9, so we are there as soon as they open, but prevents us from getting early for the que. THEN, korat immigration is usually quite busy. And we were given the wrong information from the information office, of what we needed for witnesses etc. They even said it was their wrong, so next week, fix the stuff and go back. And again, i believe it was the witnesses signed on the wrong spot or something like that, so that ones shot. But luckily the IO went through the rest of the paperwork and signed off it was ok. Fix that stuff go back again another day. Get a different IO, who then says one of the pieces of paperwork, the directions to our house is not the correct way, regardless of it being signed off by previous IO. And the wait that day was so long we couldnt fix it and bring it back.
Oh we had 4 total trips there. Including 2 over night stays. And our drive to immigration is 1.5 hours each way. I want to say thank you to Gilbeys Vodka for getting me through that time.
Yep. I was honestly ready to just slip the immigration officer like 20k just to get it done haha. We ended up with 4 trips to immigration. We also live the literal farthest drive possible in Thailand to get to immigration. 1.5 hour drive one way haha.
Uh, if everything is legit and the paperwork is in order, there is no reason to deny. Immigration is very fair on that part, its trying to keep up with the paperwork and other changes
